Stationary Enemy

Well here is a stationary enemy design concept . I've spend a lot of time in sketching different ideas and talking about them with my team mate. Finally I've come up with this version.
It will attack the player on distance with the mini gun on its head but can also deal a lot of damage in melee combat by biting the player.



Since the concept of the stationary enemy got a little bit too overloaded with details and has too much different functions, I've tried to give it one simpler function. It's now only attacking the player with melee attacks and is not able to shoot.
