Kamikaze Enemy Concept

Today I made some concepts for the Kamikaze enemy we want to implement in our game. It crawls quickly to the player and explodes. When you kick the enemy in the right moment, you tear off his explosive slime-ball and kill him with that. Then you can use the ball as a bomb by shooting on it.

This creature brings you in to tricky situations...


Later I did more enemy design sketches. The one in the bottom right could also be our Kamikaze enemy.

Creature Design 01

So here are the first concepts for creature design for our new semester project.
We plan to build a rogue-like, randomly generated game experience within the next 3 months.


some ideas of the first enemy that will encounter the player in the very beginning
Batiaclarus: half fish half robot, swings his laser shooting lantern on his forehead. You better do not underestimate this  clumsy looking fellow.



I also tried something really different. Those overgrown human mutants for example.

the color codes should symbol different enemy types like ranged or melee attackers.

Show-reel 2nd Semester Project

For our first semester project I worked in a team of 4 people and had the chance to do concepting, rigging, animating, modeling and texturing. I've learned a lot and look forward for the next project.
